GUESTHOUSE TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Terms and Conditions apply to direct reservations made with McKeon’s Guesthouse, located at 996 McLean Avenue, Yonkers, New York 10704. By completing a reservation, the person making the booking confirms that they have read and accepted these terms on behalf of everyone included in the reservation.
RESERVATIONS AND RATES
All room rates are stated in U.S. dollars and are shown before applicable taxes. Direct reservations do not include a cleaning fee. A minimum stay of two nights applies.
Room 1 accommodates up to three guests. Rooms 2 and 3 each accommodate up to four guests. Children are welcome. The number of overnight guests may not exceed the confirmed occupancy shown on the reservation.
PAYMENT
A deposit equal to 25% of the accommodation charge is collected when the reservation is made. Applicable taxes are not included in the deposit.
The remaining 75% of the accommodation charge, together with all applicable taxes, will be charged to the card used for the reservation after check-in. By completing the reservation, the guest authorizes McKeon’s Guesthouse and its payment providers to process these agreed charges.
CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
The 25% reservation deposit is refundable when a cancellation is received at least seven calendar days before the scheduled arrival date.
If a reservation is cancelled fewer than seven calendar days before the scheduled arrival date, the deposit is nonrefundable.
Cancellation requests must be made by calling (914) 530-2386 or emailing info@mckeonsonmclean.com. Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method. Bank and card-processing times may vary.
Changes to reservation dates or rooms are subject to availability and must be confirmed by McKeon’s Guesthouse.
SECURITY AUTHORIZATION
A temporary security authorization of $200 may be placed on the guest’s card before or at check-in. This is intended to cover damage to the property or violations of the no-smoking policy.
If no charge is required, release of the authorization will be initiated within 48 hours after checkout. The guest’s bank or card provider may take additional time to remove the authorization from the account.
If a charge is necessary, McKeon’s Guesthouse may use some or all of the authorized amount toward documented damage, smoking-related cleaning or other costs resulting from a violation of these terms.
CHECK-IN AND CHECKOUT
Check-in begins at 4:00 p.m. on the arrival date.
Checkout is by 12:00 noon on the departure date.
Guests should provide an expected arrival time when booking and contact McKeon’s Guesthouse if that time changes substantially.
SHARED FACILITIES
The guesthouse contains three private bedrooms. All rooms share a kitchen and a bathroom with a bath and shower.
Each room includes air-conditioning and DIRECTV. Guests are expected to use shared facilities respectfully and leave them in reasonable condition for other guests.
ACCESSIBILITY
The guesthouse requires the use of stairs and is not wheelchair accessible. Guests with accessibility questions should contact McKeon’s Guesthouse before booking so the property’s layout can be explained.
SMOKING
Smoking is not permitted inside the guesthouse or guest rooms. Costs resulting from smoking, including additional cleaning or damage, may be charged against the security authorization or separately to the card on file where permitted.
PETS AND SERVICE ANIMALS
Pets are not permitted. Service animals will be accommodated as required by applicable law. Guests traveling with a service animal are encouraged to contact McKeon’s Guesthouse before arrival so appropriate arrangements can be made.
PARKING
On-street parking is available in the surrounding area. Parking spaces are public and cannot be reserved or guaranteed by McKeon’s Guesthouse. Guests are responsible for observing posted parking restrictions.
GUEST RESPONSIBILITY
The person making the reservation is responsible for the conduct of all guests included in the booking and for providing accurate reservation and contact information.
Guests are responsible for their personal belongings during their stay. Any damage or maintenance concern should be reported promptly.
PRIVACY AND PAYMENT PROCESSING
Reservation and payment information is processed through third-party service providers, including Smoobu and Stripe. Additional information about how personal information is handled is available in the McKeon’s Guesthouse Privacy Policy.
